Flag Motorsports at Holley LS Fest West 2024

It’s the third year attending LS Fest West for Flag Motorsports! This year we had more cars than ever, and got to compete in the drift challenge in our shop C6, coined the “Flagship”. This year, Cameron Schaefer piloted the C6 in competition supported by our awesome crew of builders, spotters, and media. The car performed flawlessly throughout the comp, but we were knocked out before top 16 due to a small straighten in the chase. Nonetheless, the crew had a blast fielding the car and we’ll certainly be back next year looking for more! Special thanks to the talented Holley photographers, and Patrick McGhee with Steakhouse Media for the coverage!

The Reiss Racing crowd never disappoints! This year we were incredibly proud to have built the engines powering George’s 1970 Camaro (the 8800 RPM LS7), Taz’s 2nd Gen Camaro (416 LS3 stroker), Michael’s 2nd Gen Camaro (also a 416 LS3 stroker!) and Dan Wilcox’s 1st Gen Camaro (did you guess LS3 stroker?) and more! Dan joined the lineup this year, with a 48 hour build the same week that we left for LS Fest after he discovered metal in the oil of his previous engine Monday before the event! We were able to pull out all of the stops to get him to Vegas and his success in the Grand Champion event was our reward! Reiss Racing also fielded Sabotage C10, the country wide award winning autocross monster, Blue Thunder, a 1st Gen Camaro, and Josh’s black 1st Gen Camaro.
